Do you work only with domestic violence survivors?
We work with survivors of violence including but not limited to domestic abuse, assault, rape, molestation, trafficking, mental and emotional abuse, etc.
Do you only work with women?
We work with all genders and ages.
If a person’s trauma was ten years ago, would they still qualify?
We don’t have any requirements on time. It often takes years for a person to be ready to heal and the healing aspect is what we are here for.
How do I qualify or apply for help?
Call our phone number, 605-801-0528 and you will receive a call back for a short interview to discuss your needs and what services might be best suited for your situation.
What if I don’t have insurance?
Our services are 100% free of charge to the survivors we work with.
How can I support my family member or friend going through domestic violence?
- Reassure them that the abuse is not their fault.
- Encourage them to talk to people who can provide help and guidance.
- Offer to go along for moral support to the police, court, or lawyer’s office.
- Help them create a safety plan.
- Encourage self-care and practice it yourself.

Do your clients have to pay for anything?
Survivor boxes, classes, and healing services are offered at no cost through generous donations from our annual fundraisers and direction donations. Clients can meet virtually with most providers or in person. Transportation to services would not be covered.
